1933 National El Trovador

A very cool and rare wood body National guitar. The body was made by Harmony for National like the Aragon. The cone is original and in great shape as are the tuners . The logo is missing and the nut is newer. There are many repairs to the fingerboard binding and there are some repairs to the body. At some point someone graphed in some wood to the top around the tail piece and on the back in the same area. It is a fine job and has been blended in well. There is also some glue and finish added around the neck joint which shows the possibility of a neck-set. A wood dowel goes through the heal and the heal cap may be changed. A small label inside the "F" hole reads " Repaired by Raoul A. Ricard Oct. 15 1934". It is hard to say what he did. Over all it is a very nice playing and sounding guitar. In good condiotion.
