  • Main Drag opens outpost at Rough Trade NYC

We're adding a little Main Drag to the new Rough Trade NYC store, which (soft) opens today just a few blocks away.

Things might not look completely finished for a couple of weeks, but Rough Trade NYC opens today, and inside it is a container full of Main Drag goodies! The soft opening means that things are still being entered in all the computers there, so it will be a couple of days before you can purchase anything there, but play away, and come over to the main store if you want to snag something straight away.

You'll find a few of our favorites there to play with, learn about and (when things are fully operational) buy while taking in all the vinyl you can get your hands on.

While we won't have staff on hand, every item is tagged and has a QR code with which you can get more information - plus, you can always call us during business hours to get complete information on anything there.

We'll be changing the collection constantly, but to start off with we're offering some delights from Critter & Guitari, Moog, Earthquaker, Death by Audio, Skychord, EHX, and more!

As things settle down, we're hoping to bring you some excellent demos and unique bargains at the space, so keep posted for a lot more coming up.

Come down and have a peek, and remember, the dust is very much still settling, so feel free to let us know what you'd like to see presented.

Rough Trade NYC is open from 9am-11pm and is located at 64 N 9th St (open in Google Maps)

  • KORG MS-20 MINI!!!

In all it's glory. The Korg MS-20 Mini has been the talk of the town for the past couple of months. If you've been living under a rock, this is the reissue of the legendary MS-20. A faithful recreation by the same guys who made the original but in a smaller enclosure, this is a seriously fat synth in a small package. 100% analog with modern day benefits of MIDI and USB. This is the real deal, and they will go FAST, so come and pick yours up!

  • Stay Warm With Tube Amps

Our selection of vintage tube amps is looking healthier than ever, particularly in the Fender department. If you've been looking for a new [vintage] amp, this is the time to come down and check out some choice pieces. Highlights include a 1969 Fender Deluxe Reverb and a 1973 Princeton Reverb, both in great shape.
