He is one of the leading restorers of vintage Martin guitars. He has taught woodworking at the State University of New York Downstate Medical School in Brooklyn, New York and is now the head luthier at the Leeds Luthier School in England.

1944 Gibson LG-2 that came to us in poor shape. History... someone started a neck reset and failed ruining the finish around the neck pocket, started to refinish the back and failed.. and reset the bridge with possibly a repro. We started with properly reseting the neck, repaired back cracks, and refinished the back. We also replaced the tuners with newer grover replacements. GOOD NEWS: Sounds amazing, banner headstock still intact, large neck. A great player for stage or home
